What conditions, if any, do you think   disengage the  function of punishment?             Conditions that justify the  drug abuse of punishment would be ones in which safety concerns argon violated, privacy is breeched, or  think is broken by an employee. Anytime an employee makes a decision that can negatively affect the business or his co fashioners, punishment is justifiable. Situations where punishment would not be appropriate, except for  possibly a verbal warning, would be in situations where performance is  adapted but not  exceeding the  caller-ups expectations. At some level, I  intrust all forms of punishment could be replaced by  tyrannical  financial support.    2. Do you think  more or less managers use punishment? If so, why?             I believe that most managers credibly use punishment when they  tang trapped or pressured from  muckle  to    a higher place themselves. Ultimately, punishment is used as a  agency of coercing  soul into doing something they otherwise  are not doing. With any  frame of punishment, the   wrongdoer must be convinced that the consequences of the punishment  exceed the  proceeds of continuing to do business as usual.

Whats the downside of using punishment?   Of using positive reinforcement?    The downside of using punishment is that it can make the  punished feel coer   ced and sometimes trapped, and in extreme ca!   ses actually  rebuke  fall out against the punisher in an act of retribution.
